Weekly Menus: Week of 1/29/2012 (Special Guest Cook Edition)

Gentle Readers, once more the open road, or rather the closed plane, beckons. And The Practical Cook must heed the call, because someone has to bring home the bacon. A lot of it in fact. But I digress. This week’s menus are being run by the most capable cook I know, The Practical Cook’s Mom. My children eat like they’ve never been fed when she cooks for them.

Even if I make the exact same thing. Sigh.

So here are the Weekly Menus for this week:

Weekly Menus: 1/29/2012

And the Four-Square Grocery list, shopped for in advance:

The Four-Square Grocery Shopping List: 1/29/2012

The Four-Square Grocery Shopping List: 1/29/2012

Which translates into:

Sunday: Ham steak, sweet potatoes, green veg.

Monday: Nachos! (by request by the Juniors)

Tuesday: ??? It’s a Mystery Meal.

Wednesday: Dine Out!
Punting! with Chicken Fingers, a favorite when I’m looking the other way.

Thursday: Pizza and Salad
It’s a classic, what can I say?

Friday: White Beans and Sausage
Nothing better than a one-skillet meal to welcome one home.

Saturday: Dine Out!
I feel some food trucks or similar adventures coming on!
